Christopher Jordan Wallace Says Accuser in Lawsuit Against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Has Been Avoiding Legal Action

The man who previously accused Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Christopher Jordan Wallace of sexual assault is now facing allegations that he deliberately avoided being served legal documents tied to a defamation lawsuit.

According to AllHipHop, attorneys representing CJ Wallace have asked a federal court in Tampa to reject Jonathan Hay’s attempt to dismiss a default ruling in the case. Hay previously accused Wallace of involvement in an alleged sexual assault connected to Diddy.

In a recent filing, Wallace’s legal team argued that Hay failed to provide sufficient evidence or legal grounds to justify overturning the default entered against him.

“Jonathan Hay offers no evidence or legal authority in support of his Motion to Set Aside Clerk’s default, falling woefully short of meeting his burden to show there is good cause to set aside the default entered against him,” the filing states. “For months, Hay has engaged in a deliberate pattern of concealment and evasion designed to frustrate service of process and obstruct the orderly administration of this case.”

Wallace has consistently denied the allegations and previously responded by filing a defamation lawsuit. His attorneys now contend that Hay is attempting to use procedural arguments to undo the default judgment after allegedly avoiding service for an extended period.

Hay has argued that the legal papers were not properly served, claiming he was focused on moving the case to California, where the alleged incident reportedly occurred. Wallace’s legal team disputes that claim, pointing to statements from a property manager who allegedly said Hay was residing unlawfully at a particular address, as well as comments reportedly made by Hay’s daughter indicating he had left the state.

“Now, having successfully been served and failing to respond, Defendant asks this Court to set aside the resulting default and reward his obstruction,” Wallace’s attorneys added.

While Jonathan Hay continues to battle legal challenges involving Christopher Jordan Wallace, his allegations could potentially create additional legal troubles for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Reports indicate that the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing the sexual assault allegations to determine whether further action is warranted.

The reported review marks another development in the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Diddy, as authorities assess the claims and evaluate whether they could support any new criminal charges. At this stage, no decisions regarding additional charges have been announced.
