Kylie Jenner is facing another lawsuit, marking the third legal complaint filed against her in roughly two months. This latest case comes from a former private chef who alleges that demanding working conditions contributed to her suffering a miscarriage.
According to court documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times, the unnamed woman claims she regularly worked 11- to 12-hour shifts, five days a week, between November 2024 and March 2025. She alleges that after informing her supervisors in early December 2024 that she was three months pregnant and needed “reasonable accommodations to protect her health and pregnancy,” she was still assigned physically strenuous duties.
The lawsuit claims that on New Year’s Eve 2024, her supervisors instructed her to “lift and transport heavy food items across the streets and uphill without assistance.” During the shift, she allegedly became dizzy, struggled to breathe, and required help from security personnel, who provided her with water and assistance.
The complaint also references an incident on or around February 1, 2025, when the chef was assigned to work at a birthday celebration for Jenner’s child in Palm Springs while five months pregnant. She alleges that requests for additional support were ignored and that she was forced to continue working without adequate assistance.
“Due to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event,” the lawsuit states. “That evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”
The following morning, the woman claims she woke up with severe hemorrhaging and drove herself to the emergency room, where doctors allegedly informed her that her unborn child no longer had a detectable heartbeat.
According to the lawsuit, after notifying her supervisors about the miscarriage, she was “falsely accused of leaving the kitchen and refrigerator in disarray” following the Palm Springs event.
She further alleges that she suffered another severe hemorrhage on February 8, causing her to collapse in her bathroom.
The complaint also claims that a supervisor later reprimanded her, saying, “Stop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie. You are making her depressed.”
In addition to wrongful termination, the former chef alleges pregnancy discrimination, harassment, failure to provide reasonable accommodations, and claims she was improperly classified as an independent contractor. She also alleges she was not paid correctly or on time for the hours she worked.
The woman says she submitted a formal written complaint to Jenner’s management company, Tri Star, following her dismissal and later received an email offering a settlement in exchange for signing a release agreement.
She is seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
The lawsuit follows two other legal complaints filed against Jenner earlier this year. In April, former housekeeper Angelica Vasquez sued, alleging discrimination and harassment by fellow staff members. The following month, another former housekeeper, Juana Delgado Soto, filed suit, claiming she was mocked by a supervisor, repeatedly denied meal and rest breaks, and faced retaliation after reporting her concerns to human resources.
