As spotted by Bars on Instagram, Don changed the username of his alternate Instagram account from @octanemountain to @activate_nitrous. The move appears to connect with the name of his upcoming “Nitrous – Octane” world tour. He also shared the alternate account on his main Instagram Story, giving fans a glimpse that something new is on the way.
“Here we Go,” he wrote. “no better time than now.”
Meanwhile, Toliver is preparing for the second leg of his tour, which includes 37 additional dates across North America and Europe. The run begins in just a few days on Tuesday (August 4) in Sacramento.
With the tour continuing until its final stop on November 24 in London, some fans are hoping Nitrous will arrive during the tour. While that may just be speculation from excited listeners, it appears Don Toliver has been laying the groundwork for his next release for quite some time.
Adding to the excitement, some fans are speculating that Don Toliver may have already teased a feature for Nitrous. In several social media posts celebrating the success of Octane, the rapper gave a shoutout to Drake by referencing their “Ran To Atlanta” collaboration with Future and Molly Santana, while also using the track as background music for his Instagram Story updates.
One of those posts highlighted how Octane continues to rank among the best-selling rap albums each week, alongside ICEMAN.
Drake and Don Toliver have both had major commercial success throughout 2026, making a potential first-time collaboration between the two artists a possibility that has fans excited. Both are known for their melodic styles, versatility, and their shared connection with artists like Travis Scott.
As of now, there is no official release date for Nitrous. The upcoming project is expected to continue the high-energy, atmospheric style that has defined much of Don Toliver’s catalog, a sound that was further developed on 2024’s Hardstone Psycho.
