21 Savage Celebrates 10th Annual ‘Issa Back 2 School Drive,’ While Growing Financial Literacy Initiative

21 Savage celebrated the 10th edition of his annual Issa Back to School Drive at the Wade Walker Family YMCA in Georgia on Sunday (August 2), using the milestone event to announce the expansion of his financial literacy initiative.

The Atlanta rapper, alongside his Leading By Example Foundation, provided backpacks, school supplies, shoes, and food to 2,000 students and families as they prepared for the upcoming school year. The yearly community event, produced by Momma Flystyle and sponsored by Live Nation, also served as the platform to unveil the growth of his Bank Account financial literacy program, which will now be introduced in ten DeKalb County schools.

The Bank Account initiative was launched through 21 Savage’s partnership with Get Schooled and Juma, inspired by his multi-platinum hit “Bank Account” from the Issa album to promote financial literacy. The program equips young people with essential money management skills, including how to open bank accounts and save for college. It also features a free online platform, Bank Account at Home, making those educational resources available to young people across the country.
