North West has officially headlined her first solo concert, making her debut in Chicago, her father Ye’s hometown.
On Saturday (Sept. 5), the 13-year-old took the stage at The Vic Theatre in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood as Ye and Kim Kardashian proudly watched from different sections of the crowd.
North kicked off her set with Lil Uzi Vert’s “Hello Northie!” and performed tracks from her N0rth4evr EP, along with songs from her feature appearances, including “Talking” from her dad’s 2024 Vultures album with Ty Dolla $ign.
The show came a month after North’s planned 14-date Molly x North Kimokawaii tour with rapper Molly Santana was canceled. The trek was originally scheduled to begin Aug. 5.
Concert footage showed Ye nodding along and recording the performance, while Kim also cheered and filmed from the audience. Both parents later posted clips from the show on their Instagram Stories, with Ye adding “SO PROUD” over a video of North performing.
Northie also marked the occasion online, thanking fans for coming out to support her.
“This is what I’m meant to do,” she wrote on her story.
Earlier this year, North signed with independent music company Gamma, which is led by former Apple executive Larry Jackson. The company also partnered with Ye on his 12th studio album, Bully.
