Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s widow, Tenisha, alleges that the Los Angeles home where the actor lived with her and their daughter was recently sold by his mother, Pamela, and placed into the family trust at the center of their ongoing legal dispute.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Tenisha claimed that her late husband intended to leave the property to her and their daughter, who “developed the core memories of her father” while living there.
Real estate records reportedly show that a home in Studio City, California, owned by Warner was sold for $1.6 million in May.
Tenisha also claimed that Pamela offered her and her daughter a home in Georgia with a $700,000 mortgage. She further alleged that her monthly expenses had been covered through Warner’s estate until Pamela stopped the payments.
In a recent filing, Tenisha claimed that she has “refused to capitulate to unfair pressure and tactics” from Pamela in an effort to force a settlement over the late actor’s estate. Pamela previously said that Tenisha rejected her proposal, which would have awarded the majority of Warner’s estate and trust to his daughter.
Pamela has since reached an agreement with the court-appointed guardian representing Warner’s daughter, which appears to follow the same terms Tenisha previously rejected.
