Detroit rapper and streamer Looze Cannon is making serious waves on TikTok with his hilarious and sharp freestyles as Big Michael, his Michael Jackson-inspired persona on the platform. His captivating personality and interactions with fans have caught the attention of several hip-hop figures, including Timbaland, Cordae, singer Tamar Braxton and others.
However, it’s his freestyle performances that truly steal the show. During his TikTok livestreams, Cannon appears as the fictional MJ using a Michael Jackson filter, delivering witty and creatively crafted rhymes over some of hip-hop’s most iconic beats. The rapper, who describes himself as “blessed-and-highly-flavored,” has made the character a major attraction.
One of his standout freestyle moments came last month when his livestream reached an impressive milestone of 100 million likes. To celebrate, the entertainer, whose real name is Glen Cannon, launched into an entertaining lyrical showdown with himself, going back and forth against his King of Pop alter ego over Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones Part II” instrumental.
Another memorable moment came when Yung Miami joined Cannon’s livestream as a special guest. Without missing a beat, the rising talent delivered an entertaining freestyle over Caresha’s viral track “Spend Dat.”
Big Michael has also delivered several other impressive freestyle performances over beats from Petey Pablo, Belly Gang Kushington, Juvenile and more. His debut single, “Big Michael Michael,” was also born from an impromptu freestyle he originally performed for his fans.
Cannon has quickly established himself as one of TikTok’s biggest breakout stars, with plenty of opportunities ahead as he continues exploring music beyond his Big Michael character. From clever bars to hilarious moments, check out some of Looze Cannon’s funniest Big Michael freestyles below.
