Kourtney Kardashian isn’t bothered by speculation that her marriage to Travis Barker is in trouble. The reality star even had a bold response for a publication reportedly planning to claim that she and the Blink-182 drummer had gone their separate ways: Go ahead and publish it.
According to E! News, during the Nov. 5 episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the 47-year-old revealed that her publicist had reached out about a magazine report alleging that she and Barker were no longer living under the same roof and were heading toward a divorce. Instead of issuing a formal denial, Kardashian dared the publication to run the story.
“She is like, ‘The magazine is saying that you and Travis don’t live together anymore and you are splitting up,'” Kardashian recalled. “I go, ‘Tell them to print it.’ Just see what happens. They know it is not true.”
Kardashian also criticized how easily unconfirmed relationship rumors gain traction online, suggesting that the latest speculation may have originated from a TikTok video. “And people believe it!” she said. “It’s so bizarre.”
The Lemme founder dismissed the reports as “fabricated stories,” emphasizing that the alleged breakup was far removed from what was actually happening in their marriage.
Rather than planning a separation, Kardashian and Barker have been focused on renovating their home to make room for their blended family. The couple, who tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their son Rocky Thirteen in November 2023, have been making changes to their residence to accommodate their children from previous relationships.
Kardashian shares Mason, Penelope, and Reign with Scott Disick, while Barker has two children, Landon and Alabama, and also shares a close bond with Atiana De La Hoya.
“My goal in renovating my house and all the changes we’re making is so that we can all fit,” Kardashian previously revealed on The Kardashians. She also acknowledged that bringing their families together required some adjustments, especially with the temporary disruption caused by the ongoing renovations.
However, during the Nov. 5 episode, she expressed excitement about the family’s future in their updated home. “I can’t wait to cook, have movie nights, barbecues,” she said. “I want to make it feel magical for everyone.”
The breakup rumors also come months after Barker opened up about how he and Kardashian work to keep their marriage strong. During an August interview with People, the Blink-182 drummer revealed that they follow one simple relationship rule: “We try not to ever fall asleep mad at each other.”
He explained that they make an effort to address even minor disagreements before going to bed, believing that resolving issues rather than allowing resentment to build helps preserve their connection.
Barker has also credited Kardashian with helping him work through the emotional trauma of the devastating 2008 plane crash, which left him severely burned and unable to fly for more than a decade.
“Falling in love again, my wife gave me so much hope to where I ended up flying again,” he said.
Kardashian was by his side when he finally boarded a plane for the first time since the 2008 accident.
