Another One of Yella Beezy’s Friends Takes the Stand Against Him

Future and Drake have teamed up on wax for the second time this year, joining forces on Future’s latest single, “Ya Hit.” The track also features appearances from Travis Scott and Loe Shimmy.

On Friday (Nov. 6), Future released the lead single from his upcoming album, less than four months after dropping his previous project. Produced by ATL Jacob, the song also includes additional ad-libs from Sexyy Red. The Atlanta rapper first previewed the track last month at a New York party alongside Loe Shimmy, Travis Scott, and Cash Cobain.

“Baby, you f\*\*kin’ with lames, ya hit, ya hit,” Loe raps on the hook. “Reach for this diamond, my chains, ya hit, ya hit/I don’t really care for the fame, get hit, ya hit/She shakin’ a\*s, she done ran through the town, go down.”

“Ya Hit” marks another reunion between Drizzy and Pluto following their collaboration on Drake’s Iceman track, “Ran to Atlanta.” The two artists had not appeared together on a song since 2022, following a reported fallout the following year. Tensions escalated further in 2024 when Future and Metro Boomin released We Don’t Trust You, which featured several apparent subliminal shots at Drake. The project also spawned “Like That,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, whose direct shots at Aubrey helped ignite one of hip-hop’s most talked-about feuds.

As for Future’s upcoming album, the project is reportedly titled Infinity, although further details remain scarce. In August, he teased the project on his Instagram Story while thanking fans for helping him secure his 12th No. 1 album with July’s The Real Me.

“Thanks for the #1 album,” he wrote in the post. “I’m always super grateful for the consistent love 1000% this next one for you.”

Released on July 10, the 22-track The Real Me became Future’s 10th solo studio album and his first solo release since 2024’s Mixtape Pluto. The project moved 131,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, earning him the top spot on the charts without any guest features. The achievement also placed Future among the top five artists with the most No. 1 albums in history.
