The Golden Globes turned into a roasting ground for Diddy. During the ceremony, host Nikki Glaser didn’t hold back, throwing multiple zingers at the troubled music titan.
She kicked things off by taking a shot at the upcoming film Challengers starring Zendaya, quipping that it packed less sexual heat than Diddy’s credit card statements. When the audience reacted positively, she kept the Diddy material flowing.
“I know… I’m feeling it too,” Glaser teased the crowd. She then added with perfect timing, “Sure, the post-show celebration won’t match up to previous years, but life goes on,” drawing more laughs from the audience.
Taking her comedy to the next level, Glaser delivered what many considered the evening’s most memorable punchline. She cracked that a “Stanley Tucci freak-off sounds way less exciting,” then followed up by joking that they’d have to swap out baby oil for olive oil this year.
Wrapping up her opening set, Glaser landed one final punch at Sean Combs. She predicted that in five years’ time, viewers watching old Golden Globes footage on YouTube might spot someone in the audience and realize “Whoa, that was right before they nabbed that person.” She added with a knowing smile, “We might be making history tonight and not even know with who.”
For context, Diddy has been locked up in a Brooklyn jail since September, facing serious charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution-related offenses. He maintains his innocence and has tried to get bail three times without success. He’s scheduled to face trial in May 2025.
