Fresh off dropping WHAM, Lil Baby’s already cooking up new plans.
The 30-year-old rapper shared on RapCaviar’s “A Day in the Life” that he’s got several projects in the pipeline. “Got WHAM album, Dominique album, Can’t Be Fucked With tape, a compilation—remember I told you I got that coming,” he revealed around eight minutes in.
But the big news? He’s been putting in studio time with Future. “Me and Future got a joint tape nearly wrapped up,” he shared, adding that Young Thug might jump in too. “Now [Thug’s] home, he’s not letting that slide,” Baby explained. “Actually, it was Thug’s idea… He told me, ‘Yo, hit up Pluto. Y’all need to do this tape together.'”
While Thug’s exact role isn’t clear, he’s definitely in the mix. “He even picked out the name before getting out,” Baby said. “Now he’s free, he’s like, ‘I’m getting on this tape.’ We might have something huge coming. Can’t say exactly what, but lots of stuff’s happening.”
Baby mentioned Thug’s been living in the studio since beating the YSL RICO case, and they’ve already knocked out 10 tracks for the project.
His latest album WHAM dropped Jan. 3, featuring verses from Future, Young Thug, GloRilla, and others.
