The controversy around Ye deepens as he’s now hawking hoodies that look exactly like the one Cassie was wearing when Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly attacked her in 2016 footage – this coming right after he publicly backed Diddy.
The artist formerly known as Kanye West posted a still from the video showing Cassie moments before Diddy’s alleged hotel hallway assault. He followed it up with a clear shot of the hoodie, marketing it as “THE LOVE HOODIE AVAILABLE NOW yeezy.com” – a direct nod to Diddy’s “Love” moniker.

Ye stirred up more outrage with another post of the 2016 clip, writing “You have to truly be in love to get to the point of risking everything.”
The post got hit with an X Community Note that set the record straight: “This is not love. This is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs violently assaulting his girlfriend at the time, Cassie.”
Turns out this hoodie’s got history – it’s actually a revival of Ye’s “So Help Me God” design from 2015, made for an album that never dropped. The “M” on the front is a Virgin Mary symbol from the 13th century. The same design popped up again as cover art for Ye’s track “All Day” in 2016.
But bringing back this hoodie now, especially tying it to Cassie’s abuse, has got social media users calling Ye out.
Ye’s latest controversy follows a string of shocking posts on X. Just days ago, he openly praised Adolf Hitler.
“I LOVE HITLER,” he posted, followed by “I CAN SAY JEW AS MUCH AS I WANT I CAN SAY HITLER AS MUCH AS I WANT MATTER FACT I DO SAY IT WHEN I WANT.”
He then turned his attention to his industry connections, taking shots at the late Virgil Abloh while showing love to his occasional rival Drake.
“I LOVE TRAV VIRGIL AND DRAKE DRAKE THE REALEST ONE OF THOSE THREE THOUGH HE NOT FAKE COOL HE’S JUST TALENTED AF,” Ye wrote. “AND YES ITS FUCK VIRGIL AND ANY OF THESE OTHER [N***AS] THAT WORKED FOR ME THAN USED ME THEN WENT AGAINST ME I LOVE VIRGIL AND HE USED THAT VERY LOVE TO BEAT NIGERIANS ARE SUPER SMART.”
About his wife Bianca Censori’s revealing Grammy outfit, Ye claimed control over his wife’s choices on X.
“THIS AINT NO WOKE AS FEMINIST SHIT SHES WITH A BILLIONAIRE WHY WOULD SHE LISTEN TO ANY OF YOU DUMB ASS BROKE BITCHES,” he posted. “PEOPLE SAY THE RED CARPET LOOK WAS HER DECISION YES I DON’T MAKE HER DO NOTHING SHE DOESN’T WANT TO BUT SHE DEFINITELY WOULDNT HAVE BEN ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL YOU STUPID ASS WOKE PAWNS.”
