Pete Davidson Opens Up About Dating Life Criticism, Says He’s Been ‘Harassed’ and Humiliated Because He’s ‘Ugly’

Pete Davidson thinks his dating life’s become such a hot topic just because he doesn’t fit the Hollywood heartthrob mold.

Chatting with Page Six, Davidson got real about why his relationships always make headlines.

“Everyone is dating everyone, and it’s Hollywood,” Davidson told the outlet. “Look at Paul Mescal, Timmy [Chalamet], Barry Keough. But because I’m ugly, they wrote about me. I was harassed for like five years, and it made my life a living hell.”

The comedian says it’s been rough, explaining how his relationships overshadowed his actual work. “[I] was one of the youngest ever cast members on ‘SNL’ and all that got pushed to the side because of who I was dating,” said Davidson.

From Ariana Grande to Kim Kardashian to Emily Ratajkowski, Pete’s star-studded dating history has kept tabloids buzzing, with people fascinated by these unexpected matches.

Speaking to W Magazine last year, he made it clear he’s over that image. “I just want to be known for doing good work. I want to be out there only when it’s [a] movie, stand-up, charity, or business ventures,” said Davidson. “That’s when I want to be seen. I don’t want to be this fucking loser who just dates people. That’s not who I am.”

Meanwhile, Pete’s been making waves for getting rid of his ink collection. During a recent Late Night With Seth Meyers appearance, he shared his goal of removing his “dumbest” tattoos before hitting 40.
