Halle Berry says her current love story with Van Hunt came from the power of manifesting.
During her chat on Today with Jenna & Friends, the 58-year-old star claimed she “spiritually called” Van Hunt, 54, into her life after her third marriage ended in 2016. “I manifested him,” she revealed, explaining how her past relationships helped her spot the real deal.
“Having gone through three divorces, I finally knew what wasn’t working, and I realized I was always saying to the universe what I didn’t want — what I didn’t want,” she shared. “So guess what I did? I manifested what I didn’t want. So, I really had to change my thinking, and instead of thinking of what I didn’t want, I had to get intentional with what I did want.”
When she got super specific about her dream partner, Jones walked into her life. “It was the perfect match for me,” she explained. “After three divorces, you kind of go, ‘I’m just going to be alone,’ and I was ready to do that. I was done. I knew that if the right person didn’t show up for me, I’d be better off going at it alone. But this is the power of manifestation. We can manifest any reality we want.”
The couple clicked in 2020 during the early COVID lockdowns, and as her recent “naughty and nice” Christmas vacation pics show, they’re still going strong.
Before Hunt, Berry was married to baseball star David Justice (1993-1997), singer Eric Benét (2001-2005), and actor Olivier Martinez (2013-2016). She’s mom to 11-year-old Maceo-Robert with Martinez and 16-year-old Nahla Ariela with ex Gabriel Aubry.
