Rihanna’s gushing about how watching ASAP Rocky as a dad tops everything else.
The pop queen spilled the tea to Harper’s BAZAAR about life with Rocky and their little ones. “His pureness. His charm. I’m annoyed because my songs sometimes just live for him more than they live for me,” she said.
“And I’m like, ‘Did you know who cooked you? Do you know who pushed you out?’ And they love him, but when I see it, oh, it’s the best.”
She’ll get to see plenty more daddy moments now that Rocky’s been cleared in his trial where he faced two gun assault charges.
When he got the not guilty verdict earlier this week, Rocky nearly collapsed before rushing to hug Rihanna while everyone around them celebrated.
That night, RiRi took to Instagram Stories to celebrate her man’s freedom. “The glory belongs to God and God alone!” she wrote in all caps. “Thankful, humbled by his mercy!”
On V-Day, she showed off Rocky’s romantic side, posting a Paris Fashion Week clip of them from last June with the caption “get u a valentine that still writes love letters.”
Rocky told W Magazine last year he always knew RiRi would be his baby mama. “It’s a lot of history between us,” Rocky said. “I was kicked out of this nightclub. They wasn’t giving me no access to it. This is when I’m just starting out, so nobody knows me.”
“I was with Matthew Williams and Virgil [Abloh],” Rocky added. “I was getting into it with the bouncers, and she came out. We just locked eyes. She didn’t even know us, but she [Rihanna] was like, ‘Yo! Why y’all not letting him in? What’s wrong with you?! Let that man in!'”
He spilled about knowing she’d be the one. “I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think,” Rocky said. “So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected,” he said, adding that it happened, “kind of, sort of 2019, 2020.”
