Franky Venegas, one member of the rap duo Island Boys, has been arrested on weapons and drug charges, according to TMZ.
Franky was taken into custody on Sunday, Feb. 23, and booked into Collier County Jail in Naples, Florida. He’s facing charges for possessing a controlled substance without a prescription and having an altered firearm. Details about what led to his arrest haven’t been revealed, and his brother, who makes up the other half of the duo, hasn’t made any public statements about the situation yet.
The viral sensation, also known as Kodiyakredd, is no stranger to legal issues. In 2023, he was arrested for domestic battery after an alleged altercation with his girlfriend during an argument. When police responded, they noted bruises on the woman’s “chin, legs, and arms.”
Last year, he faced more legal problems in Florida. He was picked up in Fort Lauderdale for several driving violations, including driving without a valid license, having fake ID, and reckless driving. His brother Alex Venegas, who performs as Flyysoulja, showed support for him with a TikTok post.
