North West has moved past being upset with her mom following Kim Kardashian’s divorce from Kanye West.
The SKIMS boss, who co-parents four kids with West, opened up about her evolving bond with North during Thursday’s fresh episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians.
While chatting with her big sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Kim mentioned her 11-year-old daughter, who’s working on her first album Elementary School Dropout.
“North is, like, obsessed with me now,” the mom of four shared, according to People. “And calls me with her friends like, ‘Mom I love you, you’re the best mom. I love you so much.'”
Barker mentioned that her oldest niece has “always been like that” with her and questioned if Kim thinks something changed inside her.
“I mean possibly. It was a year of [being] mad at me,” Kim answered, adding, “I think it was all the divorce. It’s insane, the turnaround.”
Kim and Kanye ended their marriage in 2022 after six years together. Besides North, the former couple shares sons Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5, plus daughter Chicago, 7.
The 21-time Grammy-winner is currently married to Bianca Censori.
In an earlier episode of her family’s show, Kim talked about her improved relationship with her ex-husband, mentioning how they joined forces to support North during her Hollywood Bowl performance last May.
“Kanye and I both want what’s best for our children, so whenever we’re together supporting one of our kids, the atmosphere is always positive,” Kardashian explained in the episode.
