Are Cardi B and Peppa Pig at war once more?
Some fans think the rapper’s clash with the popular cartoon character could be heating up again after Peppa’s mom, Mummy Pig, revealed she’s expecting her third child during Thursday’s episode of Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast.
The bad blood between them goes back to December 2020, when Cardi complained that her two-year-old daughter Kulture was copying Peppa’s muddy puddle-jumping antics and destroying her Uggs.
“My baby been watching peppa pig and now Everytime she sees a wetpuddle she wants to stomp on top of it That shit gets me so tight,” Cardi tweeted at the time. “FuCkin up her uggs……Deum you peppa pig …COUNT YOUR FUCKIN DAYS!”
A recent post from a Cardi supporter page hinted that the ongoing feud had wrapped up, showing an image of what looked like a fake Peppa Pig account engaging with Cardi on TikTok.
In a voice note on X that’s since been removed, shared shortly after Mummy Pig’s baby news, Cardi apparently claimed Peppa’s team was dropping her name just to grab headlines. Play
“Y’all noticed how bitches were putting fake reports on a fake page that I squashed beef with them?” she said on X. “Mind you, I never even talked to them, never had a conversation with them. All of a sudden, babies [are] on their way?” “See how people use my name for publicity stunts? I just want y’all to peep game sometimes,” she added.
When a fan asked who she was talking about, Cardi responded with several bacon emojis, seemingly taking a shot at the cartoon character.
According to People, Mummy Pig revealed on the Not Gonna Lie podcast that her little one is coming this summer, and mentioned that her two kids, Peppa and George, are thrilled about their upcoming big sibling roles.
“They’re just taking everything in their stride, really. Peppa says she’s an even bigger sister now and I’m an even bigger mummy,” Mummy Pig said on the podcast. “And, you know, we’ve had a few big feelings as we call them,” added the fictional character. “But we talk and reassure them when they need it. It’s an exciting change, but it is a big one.”
