Cam’ron recently shared the unusual reason behind Katt Williams’ fallout with Dipset, claiming it stemmed from an incident where a group member allegedly farted on the comedian.
In the latest episode of Talk With Flee, Cam recalled meeting Williams when the comedian had ambitions of becoming a rapper. Williams was frequently seen with Dipset in the mid-2000s and even sported the group’s signature chain at events, but their partnership never fully materialized.
The Harlem rapper explained that Williams first approached him in California, expressing his desire to rap. Cam had no objections, believing it was rare for a comedian to have serious rap skills. However, despite Williams joining the group, internal issues within Dipset ultimately prevented him from pursuing his rap career with them.
According to Cam’ron, Katt Williams’ fallout with Dipset stemmed from an unusual incident backstage at a Philadelphia concert.
Cam recounted that Williams believed a Dipset member had intentionally passed gas on him in a locker room, which he found disrespectful. When Williams confronted Cam about it, Cam dismissed the claim, insisting it couldn’t have happened. However, the comedian took matters into his own hands to prove his point.
“So I see Katt walk around the room, I assume he’s asking n****s who farted,” Cam recalled. “I guess everybody said no. So Katt comes from across the room and punched [the Dipset member] in the face dumb hard. Off instinct, I grab Katt, flip Katt upside down, and slammed Katt. And then as I’m about to kick him, I snap out of it.”
He continued, “Now the FOI’s, which are the Muslim security, they in the middle of us. I’m on this side of the room, Katt is on that side of the room, and Katt says, ‘Yeah, Cam, and fuck you too and fuck Dipset! You n****s never did shit for me, I don’t give a fuck about none of you, get the fuck out.’”
Cam said he attempted to talk things out with Williams after the altercation, but the comedian responded with more hostility, saying, “fuck you” and “fuck Dipset.”
While Cam insists he holds no grudges against Williams, he admitted he isn’t sure how the comedian feels about him now.
