Jim Jones has made it clear he’s not a fan of Mase, recently claiming the Harlem World rapper looks “terrible” and needs to exercise.
In a video interview with XXL on Tuesday, when asked about Murda Mase, Jones took the chance to criticize the Harlem native’s appearance, saying Mase should see a doctor.
“He need to go on a diet,” Jones stated. “He need to get his life together. He need to go to the doctor and get a physical. He look terrible.”
He added, “Na look big around the neck, waist look crazy. I’m body-shaming this na. He need to go get his shit together, get on the treadmill, do some push-ups, do something, especially if you’re playing with me. You gonna need it.”
Jim Jones hasn’t hidden his dislike for Mase. In January, the Dipset member explained his issues with Mase stem from how he treated Cam’ron after finding success in rap.
Cam and Mase grew up as close friends, but after signing with Bad Boy Records, Mase reportedly turned his back on his people, including Cam, before leaving Harlem completely.
“I watched Mase shit on Cam and everybody around him. Like, all the time,” Jones said on Justin Laboy’s #Respectfully show. “I was Cam’s man, you heard? Cam and Mase were so-called best friends, grew up together… I was there for everything. That’s one thing people can’t never say, is that I wasn’t there for every single thing.”
Jones added then, “Cam was jumping out the window for him, which a friend should. Like, being overprotective, making sure nothing happens. He was trying his best to make sure that Mase stayed as safe as possible. But Mase had got that money and lost his motherfucking mind.”
