Speaking with Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay series, Amber Rose admitted she’s been to “every party” Diddy hosted but never witnessed any evidence of his alleged “freak-offs.”
Around the 1:28:00 mark of the interview, seen above, Sharpe asked Rose about all these “Hollywood Parties” and wanted to know what’s “really going on” at them. “I’ve been to probably every one, I’ve been to every party,” she shared. “I’ve been to every white party since 2009. I’ve been to every party… I’mma be honest. Now, look, I’m going to be very very transparent on this show. If these freak-offs are happening, it’s on a completely different day than the actual Puff parties.”
She explained that at all these parties she attended, Diddy was there the entire time and usually busy hosting, hanging in the DJ booth. “Now I’ve had this conversation with Ray J, [he’s] one of my best friends,” she continued. “I said, ‘Ray, did they ever invite you to a freak-off, ’cause they never invited me and I have been at these parties.’ Why didn’t I get the invite? Maybe they know I don’t get down like that, okay cool, but you would think maybe an assistant would come up.”
Ray J told her he never received an invite to one of these alleged “freak-offs” either. “I’ve never seen none of that stuff, but that’s not to say that it does not happen or invalidate people… But I do think different day that I’m just not invited to, I don’t know,” she said. Sharpe compared the allegations to those against Russell Simmons, who faced similar accusations of sexual misconduct, and asked if she thinks all the lawsuits are part of a “ploy to take down prominent high-powered Black men.”
She answered that she doesn’t know, and it depends on the evidence in all these cases. “I don’t know, because the internet is fake,” she said. “You just don’t know. But if that is, in fact, true, then that is a problem. One thing I do know about Puff is that he’s an abuser. You know, he abused Cassie. We all saw the video, it is not okay. But as far as the freak-offs, I don’t know about that.” She clarified that she was never particularly close to Diddy, but friendly enough to get invites to his parties.
Diddy has faced dozens of lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct, most recently with former Da Band member Sara Rivers accusing him of sexual harassment during production of Making the Band. The disgraced Bad Boy Records founder is currently awaiting trial on racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for purposes of prostitution charges.
Elsewhere in the interview with Sharpe, Rose discussed her beef with Joseline Hernandez, who she got into a physical altercation with on an episode of the BET reality show College Hill: Celebrity Edition. Another major topic in the episode was her high-profile relationship with Ye, whom she dated from 2008 to 2010. She claimed he’s surrounded by “enablers” who “don’t actually care about him,” and also addressed her false claim that he enjoyed fingers in his booty.
