When Post Malone lifts his red Solo cup, it’s only right to raise yours too—unless the stage has other plans.
During his Big A** Stadium Tour stop in Glendale, Arizona, the 29-year-old “Congratulations” hitmaker took a nasty tumble mid-performance while heading toward the front of the stage.
In a TikTok video shared by a fan on Sunday, June 22, Malone leaned in to clink cups with someone in the crowd during “Somebody Pour Me a Drink,” but just as the moment was about to land, the floor panel beneath him shifted—and down he went.
“I didn’t mean to almost break your back,” the fan wrote over the viral TikTok clip, adding in the caption, “I am SO sorry Austin. I love you! Such an amazing show.”
Despite the unexpected fall, Post Malone brushed it off and kept the energy high, continuing the show without missing a beat.
Fans quickly lit up the comments with reactions:
“I’d pass away if I did that to THE Post Malone,” one user joked.
“This would keep me up at night for the rest of my life,” another teased.
“Who builds these stages for Austin? Come on. Protect that guy,” someone else chimed in.
And of course, the internet delivered the perfect pun: “You can officially say Post Malone fell for you.”
Post isn’t the only star to take a tumble mid-show lately. In April, Kelsea Ballerini slipped off a moving platform while belting out “Friends in Low Places” in Toronto but quickly recovered and powered through her set. Meanwhile, at Coachella, breakout artist d4vd tried a backflip on stage—and ended up landing flat on his face.
This isn’t Post Malone’s first onstage stumble. Back in 2022, during a show in St. Louis, the rapper-turned-country crooner took a nasty fall through an open trap door mid-performance, slamming his ribs hard on the stage. Still, he powered through and finished the set like a pro.
“Everything’s good,” he reassured fans afterward on X (formerly Twitter). “They gave me some pain meds and everything, so we can keep kicking a** on the tour.”
