Cassie Ventura is seeking a protective order after claiming that former male escort Clayton Howard has been harassing and threatening her online.
According to court documents reviewed by Complex, Cassie’s legal team filed a request on June 10 asking Judge Anne Hwang, who is overseeing the case, to establish a schedule for a protective order related to a TikTok video Howard posted about Cassie’s effort to have his lawsuit dismissed. Ventura is also requesting a hearing where she will seek an order barring Howard from targeting her online.
In the filing, Cassie’s attorneys alleged that Howard launched a smear campaign against both her and her legal team at Wigdor LLP. They cited a video in which Howard referred to Cassie as a “cum dumpster and a liar” and stated, “Bitch, I’m going to burn you out with fire.” He also allegedly described Douglas Wigdor, the firm’s founding partner, as “a scumbag racist.”
“Through this Video and others, Mr. Howard has started a public campaign to harass, defame, and intimidate Ms. Ventura and her counsel. This conduct necessitates a judicial intervention,” Cassie’s attorneys wrote in the court filing.
Elsewhere in the TikTok video, Howard claimed that he and other male escorts who participated in the alleged “freak-offs” were the actual victims. He also acknowledged that he had contacted Cassie’s husband, Alex Fine, in an attempt to get a response from her.
Howard filed a lawsuit against Diddy and Cassie last summer, alleging that he was hired by the former couple to participate in “freak-offs,” during which he claims he contracted an STD. He also alleges that he impregnated Cassie and that she later had an abortion without informing him.
