Milagro Gramz has filed an appeal after being ordered to pay a $75K verdict in Megan Thee Stallion’s defamation case.

Gossip vlogger Milagro Gramz has updated her legal challenge against Megan Thee Stallion, even as a Miami federal judge ruled that the three-time Grammy winner can collect the $75,000 judgment against her.

Gramz, whose legal name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, filed an amended notice of appeal on June 30. The filing, reviewed by Complex, modifies her earlier appeal submitted in January after she was found liable for defaming Megan.

Her original appeal came when the damages were set at $59,000, but the figure was later raised to $75,000 after the court reversed its earlier “media defendant” ruling. The court also determined Gramz was not entitled to that status because she had been “commissioned” by Tory Lanez and his father to publish or broadcast defamatory claims about Megan Thee Stallion.

The updated appeal now challenges both the reinstated $75,000 award and the ruling that stripped her of media defendant protections.

Last month, Gramz also failed in her attempt to delay payment or reduce the required appeal bond while her case proceeds. She was ordered to pay the full amount, with Judge Cecilia Altonaga rejecting her request for a stay, citing a lack of likelihood of success and only “generalized disagreement” with the verdict.

To pause enforcement, Gramz would need to post an $82,500 appeal bond, which the court declined to waive or lower, noting insufficient evidence of financial hardship.

In court filings, Gramz said she does not have “substantial liquid assets” and described her income as inconsistent, stating she is self-employed and a head of household.

Megan Thee Stallion originally sued Cooper in October 2024, accusing her of acting as a “longtime mouthpiece” for Tory Lanez and spreading defamatory content, including a deepfake video. A jury ruled against Gramz in December 2025 on multiple counts, including defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress, leading to the current damages award.
