TikTok Sensation DreamDoll Bri Dead at 21 After ‘Targeted’ Shooting in Florida

TikTok influencer DreamDoll Bri was killed in a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning (July 5). She was 21 years old.

Born Brianna Johnson, the social media personality, known online as DreamDoll Bri and ItGirlBri, was riding in a Lamborghini SUV with two other people when another vehicle reportedly followed them and opened fire along Sunshine Boulevard in Miramar, Florida, at around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, according to CBS News Miami.

Earlier that night, Johnson and the two men had attended a party at a nearby Airbnb. After leaving the gathering, they stopped at a Shell gas station, where a fight reportedly broke out. A short time later, a white BMW allegedly pulled alongside the Lamborghini and fired multiple shots. Authorities have not confirmed whether the altercation at the gas station was connected to the shooting.

The Lamborghini continued for about a block before running through a stop sign and crashing into a home on Southwest 27th Street. The dramatic moment was captured on a Ring doorbell camera, and the footage quickly spread across social media. Fortunately, no one inside the residence was hurt.

Emergency responders transported all three victims to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood in critical condition, according to WSVN 7 News. Johnson later died from her injuries, a fact that was confirmed by Miramar police.

Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss described the incident as a “chaotic scene” and said investigators believe the Lamborghini was intentionally targeted. “Certainly they targeted this particular car for some reason. We’re trying to figure out why,” Moss said. He also revealed that ShotSpotter technology detected a rapid series of gunshots.

Investigators are currently searching for the suspect vehicle, described over police radio as either a dark pink or white four-door BMW that was seen traveling southbound. No suspects have been identified.

Broward County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information related to the case. Tips can be submitted by calling 954-493-TIPS.

Residents in the neighborhood said the violence was unlike anything they had witnessed before. “We’ve never experienced anything like that. Anyone here pretty much knows each other, so it’s a pretty tight-knit neighborhood,” one neighbor shared.

Johnson had amassed more than 370,000 followers on TikTok under the username @_itgirlbri and around 85,000 followers on Instagram. She gained widespread recognition for her viral song “Bend Ova,” which became a popular sound on TikTok. Following news of her death, thousands of fans filled her social media pages with heartfelt tributes. “Broward is lost for words, Bri,” one fan commented. “You did not deserve that at all.”
