Meghan Markle has added another major achievement to her résumé, this time for her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan. The show has been nominated for Outstanding Lifestyle Program at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, marking the Duchess’ latest Emmy recognition since stepping back from royal duties alongside Prince Harry.
The nominations, announced on July 14, place With Love, Meghan alongside A Different Breed, George to the Rescue, The Motherhood, and The Wizard of Paws in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category. According to People, the winner will be announced during the Daytime Emmy Awards on Oct. 30. The honor follows the release of two seasons of the series in 2025, as well as a holiday special that further expanded Meghan’s lifestyle content on Netflix.
With Love, Meghan quickly became one of Meghan Markle’s most prominent solo ventures after she and Prince Harry stepped away from royal life and moved to California in 2020. Combining cooking, gardening, entertaining, and home-inspired projects, the series welcomed guests such as Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, Tan France, and Jay Shetty. Prince Harry and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, also appeared throughout the show.
The Emmy nomination caps off a busy year for Meghan’s ongoing relationship with Netflix. While her lifestyle brand, As ever, officially parted ways with the streaming platform earlier this year and now operates independently, the Duchess continues collaborating with Netflix through Archewell Productions.
Harry and Meghan remain under a first-look deal with Netflix and are currently developing several new projects, including a feature adaptation of No Way Out, inspired by the war in Afghanistan.
This isn’t Meghan’s first recognition from the Emmys. In 2021, Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Hosted Non-Fiction Series or Special. Earlier in her acting career, Suits also submitted her for Emmy consideration, although she was never officially nominated.
Speaking at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit last year, Meghan shared how the updated Netflix partnership has influenced her creative approach.
“My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix… the extension of it—which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership—was now being in a first-look deal,” she said.
According to Meghan, the revised agreement allows Archewell Productions to present projects to Netflix first while still giving them the freedom to place content with other platforms if it proves to be a better fit.
She also reflected on how With Love, Meghan has helped shape the direction of her broader business plans.
“Eight episodes for two seasons—it’s a lot of work,” she said, explaining that she’s now looking at shorter-form content that can tie directly into her As ever brand. “How can I give you a recipe in two minutes? And where can I share that with you? And how that continues to grow As ever.”
