Latto made it clear that she is not one to tolerate criticism when it comes to her parenting.
On Friday (July 17), the Big Mama rapper quickly responded to an X user who criticized a video featuring her walking across an airport tarmac toward a plane while pushing a stroller with her and 21 Savage’s newborn child. The clip was soundtracked by her song “Chrome Heart Diaper Bag.”
“No amount of money would allow me to put my newborn on a plane. I struggle with ear pops as a grown man,” the user wrote.
Latto fired back with: “Good thing this not yo child bitch boy.”
The exchange continued when the X user replied to Latto’s response, writing: “No shit… given the whole wedlock thing.”
Latto first revealed the arrival of her newborn in May, sharing a heartwarming video on social media that captured her pregnancy journey. The footage included her friends and family’s reactions after she shared the big news, ultrasound visits, studio moments, and highlights from her baby shower.
21 Savage was also featured at the baby shower, with his tattooed hand appearing to guide the ultrasound device across Latto’s stomach.
More recently, Latto opened up about which parent their child takes after most — and according to her, it’s not her. “That’s my little girl. But I will say she’s got my dimple. She got my curls–curly girly. That’s about it right now,” she said. “Definitely look like her daddy.”
The baby girl marks 21 Savage’s fourth child. The rapper is already a father to two older sons with Keyanna Joseph, as well as another daughter from a previous relationship.
