Woah Vicky is using her social media platform to rally people in the search for her missing mother.
On Oct. 8, the influencer posted a missing-person flyer for her mother, revealing that her family has not heard from her in approximately two weeks.
The flyer features photos of Victoria Rose Waldrip and her mother, identifying the missing woman as 64-year-old Carla Elaine Johnson. It also urges anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the police immediately.
“Recently, I was jailed for fighting with my mom in Miami-Dade County. I’ve been out for two weeks now, and I haven’t been able to find her. Nobody knows where she is, and her phone is switched off. If anyone has any information or has seen her, please let me know. Her name is Carla Johnson,” Vicky wrote on X.
Johnson is described as slim and wears glasses. She reportedly traveled by bus from Atlanta to Miami to visit her daughter, with her last known whereabouts being the Midtown or Overtown neighborhoods.
Since then, no one has reportedly seen or heard from her, and her phone appears to be switched off.
The lack of contact began following an arrest. Vicky was booked on a misdemeanor battery charge in Miami on Sept. 25 after police responded to a report from a woman who alleged that her daughter had assaulted her and said she needed help retrieving her belongings.
The woman told officers she had been staying with her daughter for five days during her visit and alleged that Vicky had put her hands around her neck. Police also noted bruises on the alleged victim’s arms. Vicky admitted that she had been arguing with her mother but denied assaulting her.
Woah Vicky’s strained relationship with her mother reportedly goes back several years. During an interview earlier this year on Divij’s Den, the influencer spoke about their relationship, saying, “When someone’s, like, not saved, there’s only so much you can expect from them as far as, like, love, you know.”
