Blueface is showing appreciation to DDG for helping him kick-start his streaming career, claiming he has already earned seven figures from his move to Kick.
During a livestream in the early hours of Sunday (Nov. 1), the “Thotiana” rapper made the million-dollar claim himself. Check out an excerpt below.
“I made a million dollars in ninety days off streaming,” Blueface said. “On hundred percent, that’s all factual.I appreciate streaming. I like streaming. Shout out to DDG for introducing me to streaming, getting me all this equipment for streaming. We’ll never forget where we came from. But I’m just kind of that guy, you know? Favor isn’t fair, so they say.”
DDG has been highlighting the financial rewards of streaming for some time. He revealed that he made more money from a single month of streaming than he did from his record deal.
“For what I signed for, I made that in 30 days on Twitch,” he said, adding that “streamers make more than rappers, a hundred percent.”
Blueface’s growing success is also reflected in independent streaming figures. According to data from Streams Charts, his hours watched surged from approximately 102,000 in Q2 to 5.42 million in Q3. That represents a massive 5,225.8% increase, earning him the top spot on the platform’s percentage growth ranking.
He also placed ninth on the list of streamers with the highest growth in total viewing hours, adding 5,316,902 hours. Kai Cenat topped that ranking with more than 28.3 million additional hours. Nearly 96% of Blueface’s Q3 viewership came from his Just Chatting and IRL streams.
According to Kick’s published revenue terms, creators “keep 95% of all revenue you receive.” This means streamers earn $4.75 from every $5 monthly subscription. The same revenue-sharing arrangement also applies to KICKs, the platform’s virtual tipping currency.
