Ever thought about simply not listening to a song you don’t enjoy? Apparently, that’s the message GloRilla wants critics to take away after facing backlash over “Jiggly Bow Bow,” her upcoming collaboration with Sexyy Red.
“We kindly told y’all to keep this,” a user wrote on the platform formerly known as Twitter on Tuesday (Nov. 3), responding to a teaser of the unreleased collaboration.
GloRilla didn’t waste time responding to the criticism, as seen below.
“And I’m kindly saying fuck y’all, I do what I want,” the six-time Grammy nominee fired back in her post, which quickly prompted the original user to respond with an “ily2.” “If you don’t like it, don’t listen. I luv you. … God bless.”
“Jiggly Bow Bow” is moving forward regardless of whether the critic mentioned above approves, with the song scheduled to drop this Friday (Nov. 6). GloRilla and Sexyy Red have worked together on several occasions, including their joint appearance on Tyler, The Creator’s Chromakopia standout track “Sticky,” alongside Lil Wayne.
The first hints about “Jiggly Bow Bow” surfaced back in August, when GloRilla asked fans, “Y’all want dis?” while Sexyy Red responded, “It’s about det timeeee.”
