Cam’ron has a message for Johnny Manziel after the former NFL quarterback jumped into Gillie Da Kid’s feud with Cam Newton.
On his Talk with Flee platform, the Dipset icon issued a sharp warning, telling Manziel not to underestimate Gillie—who Manziel had threatened to slap in response to comments about Newton.
“Johnny Manziel, you should really mind your business,” Cam said. “You’re not that big. Gillie is a boxer. He really boxes. He knows how to bob and weave; he knows how to throw hands. I advise you do not run up on Gillie. Gillie will knock you the fuck out.”
Cam went further, reminding Manziel that Gillie rarely rolls solo. His cousin and Million Dollaz Worth of Game co-host Wallo would be right there with him if things got physical.
“I would hate for you to get punched in your face by Gillie, tackled by Wallo, and then Gillie’s beating the shit out of you while Wallo’s holding you down, trying to teach you a lesson,” Cam added.
While Newton and Gillie’s clash was fueled by career comparisons, Cam’ron made sure to give props on both sides. “Cam won by a landslide with his football career. But now? In the podcast space, Gillie is very, very high. He’s winning right now,” he said.
The drama kicked off after Newton defended his NFL legacy and clapped back at Gillie Da Kid for hyping up Eagles star Jalen Hurts. Newton—an NFL MVP with multiple Pro Bowl nods and a Super Bowl appearance—stacked his football résumé against Gillie’s rap career, claiming Gillie couldn’t top him in anything.
Gillie fired back quickly, calling Newton a “bozo” and clowning his fashion sense. But things took a left turn when Johnny Manziel decided to jump in, telling Gillie to “get off Jalen Hurts” and even threatening to slap him the next time they crossed paths.
