Offset is once again giving Kai Cenat major props.
During an interview on the Full Send Podcast, the Migos rapper looked back on his time streaming with Cenat in 2023.
“Playing records on live, all that shit is showing personality,” Offset told host Kyle Forgeard around the 15:45 mark.
“Especially for rappers, we don’t show personality. Everybody think we’re tough or we’re quiet or we don’t wanna be bothered. But I learned through Kai’s stream… personality, when people see how funny you is for real, that shit make them grasp to you even more.”
When Kyle Forgeard asked about the experience, Offset didn’t hold back: “Fun as fuck,” he said. “It was a nice booster. It was a nice alley-oop for the rest of these plays. … Them n***as is funny.”
Forgeard pointed out how wild Cenat’s rise has been, to which Offset replied, “Just being him though. … I feel like he didn’t do no corny shit to get where he was at.”
The Set It Off rapper linked up with Kai Cenat for a 24-hour stream in September 2023, where the two spent the day clowning around and pulling off all kinds of antics. At one point, Offset rolled a blunt and tried to get Cenat—who usually doesn’t smoke—to take a hit.
“What if my mom see this shit? She gonna beat my ass,” Kai said nervously. Offset quickly shot back, “You gotta get that ass whoopin’.”
After the marathon stream, Offset followed up with a heartfelt message to Kai, letting him know just how much it meant to him.
“Really thankful for the time and fun bro the whole gang, love them na***s like they my brothers,” Offset wrote. “Thank you, bro, I haven’t had fun like this in life in a long time, bro. I needed that in my life, been so serious for so long, na***s been going through shit with no fun, Thank you thank you.”
