On an episode of Hot Ones Versus with his Wednesday castmates, Luis Guzmán hinted he wasn’t all that impressed when it came to working with Jennifer Lopez.
Joined by Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, and Georgie Farmer, the veteran actor was asked to sum up some of Hollywood’s biggest stars he’s collaborated with in just one word.
When Adam Sandler’s name came up, Guzmán called him “amazing,” referencing their work together in Punch-Drunk Love. He described Catherine Zeta-Jones as “bellisima” and Jenna Ortega as a “prodigy.”
But when it came to Jennifer Lopez, his answer caught everyone off guard.
“OK,” he said about Lopez, his co-star in Steven Soderbergh’s 1998 crime comedy Out of Sight. The response left the room stunned as the others tried to hold back laughter. Guzmán didn’t expand further on his choice of word.
Guzmán currently stars as Gomez Addams in Season 2 of Netflix’s Wednesday after being bumped up from his recurring role in Season 1. The first half of episodes dropped on August 6, with the second batch scheduled for release on September 3. The series has already been renewed for a third season.
