Jim Jones has fired back at Tony Yayo after the G-Unit rapper questioned Jay-Z’s loyalty to longtime friend and Roc-A-Fella artist, Memphis Bleek.
During a new episode of Artist 2 Artist with Bleek, Jones addressed Yayo’s recent comments where he claimed that Jay-Z doesn’t do enough to “take care” of the people in his circle, singling out Bleek as an example.
Bleek quickly shut down those claims, telling Jones that he’s never depended on Hov for his success and doesn’t need him to tour. That’s when Capo jumped in and unleashed a fiery response aimed at Yayo.
“Yayo smoke hard coke. You look like you need to be taken care of n***a, you look like you need to go to the dentist, you look like you need to brush your teeth,” Jones said. “You look like you need hygiene n***a. You look like you need help. Tell your man 50 to send you an ounce or something. You might need two ounces, n***a.”
He didn’t stop there, adding, “Paid in Full movie. I got a G for every bump on your face, n***a, and I promise you that, n***a. I promise you that, n***a. Peon, you broke n***a. You know I got it n***a, what’s up. The bag is up! The bolsa!”
Bleek backed him up, saying, “Ain’t nobody taking care of n***as over here. … N***as deserve it. They need to hear this shit cause they’re bugging out here. All these n***as worrying about who taking care of who. We take care of we.”
Bleek added his own thoughts, saying, “Ain’t nobody taking care of n***as over here. … N***as deserve it. They need to hear this shit ’cause they’re bugging out here. All these n***as worried about who’s taking care of who. We take care of we.”
The Harlem rapper didn’t hold back, making it clear he wasn’t cool with Tony Yayo speaking on Memphis Bleek’s relationship with Jay-Z. Jones suggested Yayo should worry about his own business instead of pushing narratives about other artists.
This exchange with Yayo is just the latest in a series of feuds Jones has found himself in this year. He recently addressed his long-standing issues with Max B on his podcast Let’s Rap About It, where he made it clear that reconciliation isn’t on his agenda.
“I may forgive, I don’t forget,” Jones said. “And even if I forgive, I’m not here to make anybody feel comfortable … I don’t give a f*ck about what nobody do. I’m not actively pursuing nothing but this money.”
He’s also been trading shots with Cam’ron, his former Dipset brother, after Cam invited 50 Cent onto his Talk With Flee YouTube show and brought up Jones’ 2007 appearance with G-Unit, reopening old wounds between the two.
