A Chinese filmmaker has accused Jeremy Renner of threatening to call ICE on her.

A Chinese filmmaker has come forward accusing Jeremy Renner of threatening to call ICE on her.

Yi Zhou, a 34-year-old filmmaker, shared the allegations through multiple Instagram posts, claiming that Renner contacted her on WhatsApp in June and sent her “a string of unwanted/unsolicited pornographic images of himself.”

Zhou, who previously collaborated with Renner on a documentary and an animated film, explained why she decided to work with him in the first place.

“He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship,” she wrote. “I believed in him, in the power of love and in the possibility of redemption.”

According to Zhou, the two became romantically involved while working together, but things allegedly took a dark turn during a meeting at Renner’s home to discuss their documentary.

“I was discussing the documentary logistics, then he drank a bottle of wine by himself and got angry, yelling for two hours,” Zhou told the Daily Mail. “I had to share my location with my team, my parents, and Disney colleagues in case something happened so they’d know where I was,” she said. “I locked myself in a room to stay safe, praying he wouldn’t come in at night because he was so angry. I didn’t say a word—I was terrified for my life.”

In a separate Instagram post, Zhou alleged that Renner later threatened to call ICE after she confronted him about his behavior.

“When I called him out privately about his past misconduct and asked him to behave properly, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me, an act that deeply shocked and frightened me,” she wrote.

Zhou also shared screenshots of messages she claimed were from Renner. In one, he appeared to send a pornographic video with the message, “Oh, yes? This ok ???”

In another, after Zhou seemingly replied, “Go to hell… U r a pig… U use all apps to send d–k pix,” Renner allegedly responded, “Immigration will be notified of your –” before the message was cut off.

On her Instagram, Zhou has continued posting about the situation, referencing alleged sex parties at Renner’s home and what she described as the “dark side of Hollywood.”

Renner has not yet publicly commented on the allegations.

The actor was previously married to Sonni Pacheco, who in 2019 accused him of substance abuse, threatening to kill her, and firing a gun while their daughter was nearby.

In a 2021 interview with Men’s Health, Renner denied the claims, saying, “I don’t respond publicly or privately to nonsense. It only empowers it. If you respond to it, you give it gas. I don’t fuel shit fires. I just don’t do it. I refuse to.”
