Kanye West’s long-awaited twelfth album is expected to explore themes of “remorse, memory, ego, faith, and consequence.”
Fans have been eagerly anticipating Kanye West’s upcoming project, BULLY, for months, and now it seems the release might be closer than expected. Recently, billboards promoting the album began appearing across Los Angeles, as spotted by Kurrco. One of the ads displayed the date March 27, 2026, leading many to believe that could be when the album finally arrives.
This development comes just a couple of months after Rolling Stone reported that the project was set to drop on March 20. At the time, the outlet revealed that the album would touch on themes of “remorse, memory, ego, faith, and consequence.” It also clarified that the project isn’t meant to serve as an apology, but rather as a reflection of West’s personal experiences and inner thoughts.
Back in January, Ye also took out a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal to apologize to people he has hurt over the years while addressing his mental health struggles. He said that manic episodes tied to bipolar disorder were behind some of his controversial outbursts and shared that he is now receiving professional help.
“The scariest thing about this disorder is how persuasive it is when it tells you: You don’t need help,” he explained. “It makes you blind, but convinced you have insight. You feel powerful, certain, unstoppable.”
“I lost touch with reality,” he added. “Things got worse the longer I ignored the problem. I said and did things I deeply regret. Some of the people I love the most, I treated the worst. You endured fear, confusion, humiliation, and the exhaustion of trying to have someone who was, at times, unrecognizable. Looking back, I became detached from my true self.”
The buzz around Ye’s possible BULLY release date comes not long after he revealed plans to perform in Los Angeles for the first time in five years. The concert is scheduled for April 3, 2026, at SoFi Stadium.
