Rachel Accurso is showing support for fellow children’s entertainer Daniel Coleman following the passing of his 14-year-old son, Isaac, after a long fight with cancer. The heartbreaking message came only hours after Coleman publicly revealed that Isaac passed away on May 21, bringing an emotional journey that many parents and supporters had followed online for months to a devastating end.
Accurso, who is widely known to families around the world as Ms. Rachel, took to Instagram to encourage parents and caregivers to keep Coleman and his loved ones in their thoughts. “Please send so much love and so many thoughts and prayers to Danny Go and his beautiful family,” she wrote, according to Variety.

“Your 14 years were filled with so many obstacles, but you faced every single one with incredible strength,” Daniel Coleman wrote. “You somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all.”
Isaac battled major health challenges throughout his life after being born with Fanconi anemia, a rare genetic disorder that can lead to bone marrow failure, physical abnormalities, and a much higher risk of developing cancer.
Toward the end of 2025, doctors found an aggressive tumor in his mouth. By early 2026, Isaac underwent a major surgery that removed the tumor along with affected tissue and several teeth. Despite the difficult procedure, the cancer continued spreading and later progressed to stage 3, approaching stage 4.
As Isaac’s health declined, Coleman chose to cancel his planned 2026 tour so he could fully dedicate his time to family. In April, he revealed that Isaac had entered hospice care after doctors transitioned to comfort-focused treatment. At the time, Coleman explained that the family wanted to make Isaac’s remaining time “as enjoyable and restful as possible.”
Danny Go! has steadily grown into one of the internet’s fastest-rising children’s brands. The educational music-and-movement series recently landed in Netflix’s Top 10 kids programming rankings, frequently appearing alongside Ms. Rachel.
