Rick Ross Delays Release of Upcoming Album Set In Stone

Few rappers have maintained the level of consistency that Rick Ross has throughout his career. Love him or hate him, fans know they can usually expect lavish lyricism paired with polished, high-quality production whenever he drops a project. That said, it’s been quite some time since Ross released a solo album.

His most recent full-length effort alongside Meek Mill, Too Good To Be True, arrived in 2023 and received a mixed response from listeners despite boasting an impressive lineup of guest appearances, including Future, Vory, Fabolous, and even Shaquille O’Neal.

Ross’ last solo project was 2021’s Richer Than I Ever Been, but he has been gearing up for the release of its follow-up, Set In Stone. The album was initially announced following his Verzuz showdown with French Montana and was originally slated to arrive on June 12.

However, it appears fans will have to wait a little longer. Sharp-eyed supporters noticed that the album’s Apple Music pre-save page now lists a new release date of July 17, suggesting that Set In Stone has been pushed back by just over a month.

As 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of Port Of Miami, Rick Ross is celebrating the milestone with more than just a new album. The release of Set In Stone aligns with his latest orchestral tour, which brings a fresh twist to his catalog of hits.

The tour began in Miami on May 29 and is scheduled to resume in Atlanta on Friday, June 12. Ross will continue performing throughout the summer before wrapping up the run in Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 29.

With both the album and tour generating excitement among fans, more details about Set In Stone are expected in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for any new developments surrounding the highly anticipated project.
