Offset appears to be promoting the pay-to-earn app Freecash once again.
In a series of posts shared on his Instagram Stories, the rapper uploaded photos of himself seemingly relaxing on a boat while saying he felt inspired to “bless more people” by introducing them to Freecash after seeing how much some users allegedly earned, despite being one of hip-hop’s highest-paid artists.
“If u missed it last time this app is payin yall to play games on ur phone & the more u level up the more u can make,” he wrote. “Link on my next story LETS GO.”

His next Instagram Story included a link alongside the message: “PLAY GAMES & MAKE”

Offset later shared another Instagram Story to clarify his earlier use of the word “instant.”
The rapper explained that earning money through Freecash still requires users to put in “some work.”
“It ain’t instant but if u put some work in u can make a couple hunnid a week!” he wrote. “It’s just a way to play games and make bread so if u already on ur phone might as well go run it up. Link on my next story tap in.”

While the app isn’t considered a scam, it’s also far from the get-rich-quick solution that Offset and some other influencers appear to promote. Users can earn money by playing games and completing surveys, but most tasks pay around a dollar or even less. At that rate, buying a boat still seems a long way off.
