Rob Kardashian made a rare public appearance this week, stepping back into the Kardashian spotlight in new family photos from Khloé Kardashian’s 42nd birthday celebration. The 39-year-old has largely stayed out of the public eye in recent years, maintaining a much lower profile than his famous sisters.
According to E! News, Khloé shared the snapshots in a June 30 Instagram carousel highlighting moments from her birthday celebration, giving fans a rare glimpse of Rob during the family gathering. For the occasion, he kept his look casual, wearing blue-and-white athletic shorts, a black T-shirt, black sneakers, and a baseball cap while posing with his family.

Some of the most heartwarming moments featured Rob Kardashian with his 9-year-old daughter, Dream Kardashian, whom he shares with ex-fiancée Blac Chyna. In one snap, Rob flashed double peace signs while standing behind Dream.
Another photo captured Dream wrapping her arms around her father as they smiled for the camera. Blac Chyna has previously described Rob as the “best dad,” and in recent years, much of his social media presence has focused on sharing moments with their daughter.
The photo carousel also included Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé’s children True and Tatum, Tristan Thompson, and longtime family friends Malika and Khadijah Haqq.
Khloé captioned the post, “How blessed am I? Missing a few, but they’re always with me.”
Rob showed his appreciation in the comments, writing, “We are so Blessed to have you! We love you so much!!!”
The celebration reflected Khloé’s signature style, featuring pink balloons, pink-and-white floral arrangements, multiple pink cakes, and a glamorous theme she described in a separate post as “Champagne, Cavalli and Caviar.”
Dressed in a figure-hugging orange gown, Khloé later shared, “Still floating from all the birthday love,” adding, “My heart is full, and I feel incredibly blessed.”
After spending much of his life in the spotlight alongside the Kardashian family, Rob chose to step away from public life as he dealt with personal challenges, including depression, weight changes, body image struggles, and the aftermath of his highly publicized split from Blac Chyna.
