Lil Durk Ordered to Remain Behind Bars Despite Acquittal on All Charges

Lil Durk has been ordered to stay in custody despite being acquitted of all charges in his murder-for-hire trial.

According to YouTuber Trap Lore Ross, prosecutors in Durk’s case revealed that he will remain in custody until his next trial on racketeering charges tied to the 2022 shooting death of Stephon Mack concludes. That trial is scheduled to begin on Oct. 5th, meaning Durk is expected to spend the coming weeks behind bars. You can read our breakdown of Durk’s racketeering charges here.

After two days of deliberations, the jury delivered its verdict on the third day, acquitting the rapper on all five charges he faced: conspiracy to commit stalking; stalking Quando Rondo with a dangerous weapon; stalking resulting in the death of Saviay’a Robinson; conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death; and use of interstate commerce facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death.
