Ice-T got his Hollywood Walk of Fame star and took a moment to thank some unexpected folks.
The rap icon hit the mic, his daughter standing proud behind him, and dropped some raw truth for his critics. “I want to thank the motherfucking haters because you really make me get up in the morning and be the best that I can be,” he declared to wild applause.
“All the naysayers, all the people that wanted to end my career, now I’m on the Walk of Fame bitch ass motherfuckers,” he went on. “You have to let the haters motivate you. If you want to go to the gym, go on YouTube and see somebody talking shit about you and go get your reps in.”
Ice-T wasn’t done with his victory lap. “If it wasn’t for the haters, I definitely wouldn’t have pulled this off, I swear to God,” he added. “Thank you so much. I’m going to give you so much more to hate in the future.”
When Ice-T shared his speech on X, someone came at him for swearing with his daughter there. When they asked why Coco wasn’t there to clean up his language, Ice-T kept it real simple: “Shut up Bitch…”
After shutting down the haters, Ice-T dropped a beach pic of his fam living their best life. “Us right now…….While people go back and forth about our parenting,” he posted. “It’s so Obvious we look like we give F… Have a nice day! #TheIceFamily.”
The legend also shared some wisdom with his fans today: “ICE COLD FACT: EVERY person on Earth is dealing with some level of Stress..,” he wrote. “Every single person. Some more than others. But the illusion that someone is stress free… is just that. An illusion. Stay strong. This LIFE thing is not easy for Anybody.”
A wild clip from 2021 just popped up showing Ice-T going off on a cop in New Jersey. When the officer tried to tow his ride over expired plates – even though Ice was literally heading to the DMV – the legend wasn’t having it.
“I’m one foot away form the DMV — you’re a fucking asshole. I showed you all of the paperwork,” Ice-T fired back.
When the cop told him to “show some respect,” Ice-T kept it 100 with the most Ice-T response ever: “I don’t have to.”
