50 Cent and Joe Budden both showed up at Madison Square Garden on Monday for the Knicks-Pistons matchup. As expected, 50 marked the occasion with another lighthearted dig on Instagram, with Budden himself visible in the photos.
“I ran into Joe at the game he said I don’t need Therapy No MORE!” 50 wrote in his post caption, which included two pictures from the game showing him posing for the camera. Budden can be seen sitting in the seats directly behind 50.

The “therapy” comment references earlier exchanges between the two. Just last week, 50 teasingly recommended therapy to Budden, who had previously suggested the same for 50 and Ye during a podcast episode. At another point in 50’s Budden-focused Instagram activities, he used AI-generated images, which sparked discussion about possible legal action.
Other celebrities at Monday’s Knicks game included Ben Stiller, Timothée Chalamet, Michael J. Fox, Fat Joe, and more. Much to the disappointment of Knicks fans, the team lost their latest matchup against the Pistons, who walked away with a 100-94 win.
Other pics from the game do seem to confirm that 50 and Budden actually had a conversation, though exactly what they discussed remains unclear.
50’s headline-grabbing social media stunts haven’t been limited to Budden lately. Floyd Mayweather, the artist previously known as Kanye West, Lil Meech, Young Buck, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, and Yung Miami have all been caught up in various 50-driven news stories in recent months.
As we’ve mentioned many times before, this is totally on-brand for 50, whose social media skills have been thoroughly documented over the years.
