Rihanna Home Shooting Suspect Stripped of All Contact With Child

Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, the woman accused of opening fire at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home, has reportedly been barred from contacting her child.

According to TMZ, a Florida judge ruled on Tuesday (April 21) that Ortiz is to have no contact with her child until further notice, unless the child’s father personally approves it.

The court granted Jed Sangalang full custody, giving him 100 percent time-sharing and complete control over the child’s daily life.

This legal battle didn’t start with the alleged shooting involving the ANTI artist. Ortiz had previously been placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold in Florida. While she claimed it was based on false accusations, the judge still raised concerns.

The latest ruling is part of an ongoing legal dispute with the child’s father that dates back to 2015.

Ortiz was arrested in March 2026 and charged with attempted murder after allegedly driving to Rihanna’s Los Angeles property and firing multiple shots. Law enforcement sources say Rihanna was home at the time with her three children.

She is currently being held without bond in California.

Ortiz, who is based in Orlando, Florida, has reportedly been arrested at least twice before. After her arrest, several of her old social media posts resurfaced, including some where she spoke negatively about Rihanna.

According to the Associated Press, she has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm—one for each individual across the two properties.

She’s also facing three additional counts for allegedly shooting at occupied homes and a vehicle tied to the trailer and nearby residences.

If found guilty on all counts, Ortiz could face a life sentence.
