Alleged text messages obtained by TMZ suggest that Lil Wayne spent several months attempting to arrange a meeting with Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant cast member Rachel Beaver.
The reported exchange began last November after Beaver, 23, sent a DM to the five-time Grammy winner while he was on TikTok Live. She noticed her followers discussing Wayne’s previous interaction with fellow Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans after viewers encouraged her to make a move.
“I texted him one night while drunk,” Beaver told TMZ. “Everyone in my live [stream] was talking about the Jenelle and Lil Wayne situation, so I was like, ‘Should I text him, guys?’ Everyone said yes, so I did… and he messaged me back about a month later.”
Beaver’s first message reportedly read, “Fly me out I won’t say anything like the last one,” before Wayne eventually responded by asking for her phone number.
According to the alleged messages, the pair continued communicating for months, with Wayne repeatedly telling Beaver they could meet “whenever” and that she would not have to pay for travel expenses. On Jan. 3, around 5 a.m., the Tha Carter VI rapper allegedly sent a brief message that read, “want u.”
Beaver, who is a mother of two, reportedly tried to plan the trip around her April 8 birthday and explained that she needed to arrange childcare before traveling. After that, their communication appeared to slow down.
The potential meetup reportedly fell apart after Beaver told Wayne she was unable to fly because of an issue with her identification. The reality star had not replied to a late March message from Wayne until that point, and after she explained the situation, the rapper allegedly seemed to pull back. When Beaver later sent a “hey :)” message, it appeared as a green text bubble, which could indicate she had been blocked.
The alleged exchange reportedly mirrors Wayne’s previous interaction with Jenelle Evans. Evans revealed on TikTok that after Wayne contacted her, their conversation moved to text messages, and he flew her to Los Angeles for a possible hookup.
Evans said she ultimately declined and that Wayne sent her back home, adding that there were “no hard feelings” between them.
Last month, Wayne, 43, shut down engagement rumors involving 23-year-old Madi Cannon and revealed that he is currently single.
