NBA YoungBoy has opened up about his strained relationship with his mother. During a recent appearance on Open Thoughts with Funny Marco, the rapper revealed that the two are no longer speaking.
YoungBoy claimed his mother has been a major source of frustration in his life and said he has no intention of ever reconnecting with her. His comments quickly caught his mother’s attention after the interview began circulating on social media.
YoungBoy’s mother, Sherhonda Gaulden, later fired back on social media with a response of her own. Taking to her platforms, she accused her son of not telling the truth.
She also made it clear that she isn’t concerned about whether they ever speak again, saying her main issue is with what she claims are his false statements. Her response quickly gained attention online and eventually caught YoungBoy’s eye.
YoungBoy later joined Funny Marco on Instagram Live, where he responded directly to his mother’s comments. As expected, his reaction was anything but friendly.
Throughout the livestream, YoungBoy directed several insults at his mother, using ableist language before repeatedly calling her a “stupid h*e.” It was clear from his tone that he was extremely angry during the exchange.
The heated moment comes shortly after YoungBoy revealed that he is now living in South Korea, well away from the United States. He has also said he no longer has any interest in living in North America and doesn’t plan on returning.
YoungBoy has been dealing with several personal challenges in recent months. Following his recent heart issues, the rapper also announced that he plans to release just one more album.
