Lil Durk Verdict: Jury Seeks Guidance on Stalking Charges as Deliberations Continue

Lil Durk is still awaiting a verdict in his murder-for-hire trial. The jury has now spent 24 hours deliberating without reaching a decision on the five charges the rapper is facing.

On Wednesday evening, the jury sent a note to the court requesting digital evidence. Because of the time required to make the evidence available, jurors were told they would need to return this morning to continue their deliberations.

After just one hour back in deliberations, the jury sent another note to the court. According to Meghann Cuniff, the message was not related to a possible verdict. Instead, jurors requested clarification on the two stalking charges, which include conspiracy to commit stalking and stalking resulting in death.

The judge has now given the jurors the requested instructions, and they have returned to the deliberation room to continue weighing the case. For now, it is still unclear whether the jury will reach a verdict today.

Still, the fact that jurors are seeking clarification on the stalking charges could indicate that they may have already reached a decision on the murder-for-hire charges. That remains the most serious charge in the case, as a conviction could ultimately result in Durk receiving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Durk has two co-defendants in the case, including OTF Dede and Browneyez. Both are also facing the possibility of life sentences if convicted.
