Keke Palmer tried to get SZA to spill some Drake tea.
During a ‘versus’ Hot Ones episode with their One of Them Days co-star Issa Rae, Palmer pulled a “dealer’s choice” card around the 6-minute mark.
First, she asked Rae if she’d take back an ex who had a baby, like her Insecure character.
“I don’t like men with kids,” Rae straight up said. “I said it. If I were single and I encountered a man and he had a child without me that I had nothing to do with–I’m too egotistical. I can’t.”
Then Palmer dropped the bomb question that had everyone shook: “Is Drake a good kisser?”
“That’s why I said ‘Fuck you in advance,'” SZA laughed.
“I knew you were going to do something that was so…” the 4-time Grammy winner said before mocking Palmer’s face.
“She’s not going to answer,” Palmer teased. “He must have been terrible.”
SZA dodged the question and went for the spicy wing instead, but did share one detail: “2009 we were children. Real shit,” she said.
When Rae and Palmer kept pushing for details, SZA called them out for ‘double-teaming’ her, then flipped the script by bringing up Rae’s secret wedding to Louis Diame in 2021.
SZA, who’s worked with Drake on tracks like “Rich Baby Daddy” and “Slime You Out,” played down their brief romance in a 2023 chat with Rolling Stone.
“[We] were really young,” she told the magazine. “It wasn’t hot and heavy or anything. It was like youth vibes. It was so childish.”
