Kendrick Lamar’s Disneyland outing comes at a time when fans are still going back and forth about hip-hop’s reach following his ongoing feud with Drake.
Over the weekend, Kendrick was spotted enjoying a family day at the theme park, with photos quickly making the rounds online. He kept things low-key in a black shirt, bucket hat, and sunglasses. In one shot, he’s seen holding what looks like a coffee while pushing a stroller.
The internet had a lot to say once the photos surfaced, with both Kendrick and Drake fans jumping into the conversation. “N****s been checking on Kendrick’s personal life like their lives depended on it. Now here is he with his family, y’all can rest now,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another fired back: “In his own hometown and not a single fan in sight. That’s how I know he’s heavy botting. Drake would be hoarded by screaming fans at every turn. He’d have to rent out the whole park just to get on a ride.”
Some fans, however, were clearly over the constant back-and-forth. “Every post about Kendrick/drake is filled with haters from the other side and its annoying as hell, y’all as weird as the paparazzi following Kendrick for no reason. They’re both amazing, stop hating,” one comment read.
Kendrick Lamar has been with his longtime partner Whitney Alford for years, and the couple share two children together—a son and a daughter. Their relationship became a major talking point online during Lamar’s feud with Drake back in 2024.
Meanwhile, Kendrick has also been making headlines lately after Billboard revealed that it’s now been nine months since a hip-hop song cracked the top 10 of the Hot 100—marking the longest dry spell in the streaming era. The last track to reach that level was Drake’s “What Did I Miss?” in July 2025. Lamar himself previously dominated the charts with his 2024 album, GNX.
