Drake Kicks Off Streamer University 2026 With Inspiring Video Message

Drake, who has become a familiar face in the streaming world—and has even hosted livestreams of his own—took his involvement a step further by recording a special video message to welcome the 2026 class of Kai Cenat’s Streamer University.

On Wednesday (July 15), Kai Cenat officially introduced this year’s class, featuring creators including PlaqueBoyMax, JasonTheWeen, Giovanna Ramos, and more. Roughly 42 minutes into the livestreamed kickoff event, Cenat surprised students by playing a special welcome message from The Boy.

“2026, back for another year,” Drake began. “Congratulations to everybody that got accepted — all the new creators, all the veteran creators. I hope you guys make the most of this opportunity.”

“I hope you learn something. I hope you’re able to teach each other things,” he continued.

He then sparked loud cheers from the crowd by revealing that, on behalf of his company OVO, he had left “something — well, actually, I left you a few things — in your rooms.”

Streamer University 2026 officially began on July 15 and will run through July 20. The event is described as a content creator program that gives accepted students the chance to “learn from those with expertise in specific areas.” This year’s staff includes T-Pain, Cinna, Gibson Hazard, and several other creators serving in leadership roles.

During Wednesday’s kickoff, T-Pain announced that he would be leading the Musical Arts department, where he’ll work alongside students to create a brand-new Streamer University theme song.

“Let’s make this goddamn song,” he told the crowd during his brief address.

Kai Cenat has also made it clear that Streamer University isn’t going anywhere, saying the event will continue “every goddamn year for as long as I am alive.”
